Jam3 Does Banff

Banff, Alberta is one of the most beautiful locations in Canada. Luckily, it’s also where the Banff World Media Festival takes place–an event that brings together some of the top entertainment companies and broadcasters in the world.

Our Executive Producer, Graham Budd, co-led the “Branded Content Strategy” panel, and our multi-award winning project Seven Digital Deadly Sins also happened to win “Best of Non-Interactive Fiction” at the Rockie Awards.

We also added some gems to our Instagram account, which you can browse through here. Like for like?

Seven Digital Deadly Sins Wins Big at the Webbys

When it rains, it pours. And for Seven Digital Deadly Sins it’s no exception: we’re thrilled to announce that this multi-awarded project rocked it at the 2015 Webby Awards, winning People’s Voice for three categories: Best Use of Interactive Video, Net Art, and Activism. Jam3’s Creative Director and Partner, Pablo Vio, accepted the awards with the NFB and The Guardian.

To date, Seven Digital Deadly Sins has won 11 awards.

D&AD Yellow Pencil Win

Jam3 helped break Canada’s losing streak at the D&AD awards held this May 21st in London, England. Up until then, it had been eight years since any Canadian company had won the prestigious award. The Heart of the Arctic picked up one of only 52 Yellow Pencils handed out to agencies in 17 different countries. The team that made The Heart of the Arctic is busting out the champagne, the dance parties, and the IKEA shelf installation instructions, because we need to make some room for all of the awards this site is winning!

Thanks again to Cossette and Tendril for helping to make Heart of the Arctic possible.

Jam3 Takes Home 3 Awards at FITC

FITC awards continues to be a collection of great Canadian talent in the digital space and this year Jam3 took home awards from 3 different categories. Enjoy Your Privacy wins Best Narrative, while Heart of the Arctic takes home Best Visual Design and the coveted Best of Show.

Big thanks goes out to our partners Cossette, Leo Burnett, Tendril and congratulations to everyone involved who made this achievement possible.

Jam3 Takes Home Silver and Bronze at The One Show

Two awards AND we got to go to a party hosted by Alec Baldwin! Not too shabby. So proud to announce that we brought home an Interactive Silver Pencil for Royal Canadian Mint’s “Heart of the Arctic” in the category of  Websites/Other Consumer Goods and an Interactive Bronze Pencil for Norton “Enjoy Your Privacy” in the same category.

We could not have done it without our partners at Cossette and Leo Burnett. Looking forward to more award winning work in the future.
