Senior Design Researcher’s Mission:

As our new Senior Design Researcher you will work in collaborative cross-functional teams to help our clients develop digital products and services; creative events and campaigns; and interactive content and games that excite and engage audiences.

You’ll be responsible for leading research and generating insights to inform the design and iteration of solutions that push the creative and tech boundaries for our clients worldwide. We're project-based, so we're always working with someone interesting,  be it adidas, Meta, Google, Oculus,  Netflix, or Diageo.

The Real Opportunity!

  • +Working with the Head of Strategy, you will further define and build out the design research offering at Jam3

  • +You will scope and lead qualitative research to explore the needs, attitudes and behaviours of target audiences and their response to potential concepts and design solutions

  • +You will have the opportunity to conduct a range of research methodologies such as in-depth interviews; remote moderated testing; unmoderated testing; card sorting; tree tests; ethnographic observation; social media listening; collaborative journey mapping; and more

  • +You will be responsible for triangulating data from multiple sources and generating key findings and insights

  • +You will effectively communicate key findings and insights to project team members and clients to help inform design improvements and iterations

  • +You will define participant criteria and manage recruitment via Jam3’s preferred 3rd party platform

  • +Along with your strategy team members, you will be responsible for educating others in the organization about design research (e.g. you will be asked to showcase client deliverables you have worked on and highlight the role of research in the design process)

  • +You will help the team to continue to refine and improve internal processes

  • +You will mentor and train others in common research practices

  • +Experience generating user findings and creating insight reports.

  • +When we don't have capacity to take on an item of work, you will help the resourcing team to identify and vet suitable freelancers

  • +You will proactively maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise in customer, market, and tech trends and participate in regular sharing sessions with your strategy and UX colleagues

  • +Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize your workload and responsibilities is critical
