As our new Human Resources Director, you’ll have the opportunity to shape the future of our global talent pool at a fast-paced, growing company.
You’ll be responsible for serving as a trusted business partner who can balance their role with the needs of our people and business. You will serve as a talent management expert; addressing issues related to employee conflict resolution, employee relations, talent management and development. You will serve as a senior-level thought partner, sharing solutions for complex HR issues. You are a proactive communicator and change agent with solid experience across a wide range of HR practices. You will report to the CEO & Regional VP of People, while collaborating with other senior HR partners on HR strategy and execution.
The Real Opportunity!
Share your 10+ years of knowledge and experience in Human Resources, alongside 5 years of managing individuals or managers
You will manage, guide, and support direct reports including the Sr. HR Business Partner
You will bring your solid experience in employee relations, computer proficiency and technical aptitude with tools like Google Suites, Excel, Acrobat, Workday, Asana, and more; bonus if you have achieved a Bachelor's Degree/CHRP/CHRL
You will implement your strong knowledge of HR policies & procedures
You will provide mentorship, and career development opportunities for your People Teams
You will actively participate in Business and Operations Management Team meetings and proactively provide advice regarding the staff context for business decisions
You will challenge management teams to reflect and act as a catalyst for change
You will translate business challenges and opportunities into focused HR initiatives and solutions, coaching and advising business managers on HR concerns
You will advocate HR strategies and solutions in the business, and champion initiatives that support Jam3 and Media.Monks' culture, behaviours, and engagement goals
You will provide input to business plans to align with HR strategies, regulatory environment and best practices overlaying a future focus
You will provide expert advice on people challenges, talent management, organizational and individual performance and change and lead annual performance management reviews
You will work with management to resolve any conflicts in employee/manager relationships
You will partner with legal counsel and HR teams to develop and implement Employee Relations best practices and programs
You will handle employee complaints, manage grievance procedures, and facilitate conflict resolution counselling
You will provide day-to-day performance management support to leaders; provide coaching, counselling, and disciplinary actions to employees as needed
You will cultivate effective relationships with department heads to understand their business goals and to identify and implement solutions that support organizational strategies
You will partner with the Director of People, Employee Relations to prepare, update, and recommend HR policies and procedures
You will participate in and/or lead projects focused on continuous improvement and employee satisfaction
You will ensure the Company meets all compliance requirements with a myriad of complex state, federal, and local laws and regulation
You will work with our regional Immigration and Mobility Manager to support local immigration needs (e.g. Service Canada, Ministry of Labor, Immigration)
You will support the development and implementation of Training and Development programs across all departments
