Associate UX Director's Mission

As our new Associate UX Director, you will lead and support UX Designers working within cross-functional project teams to create digital products, mobile apps, and web platforms; multi-channel services; experiential campaigns and events; and interactive content pieces that excite customers. You will use your skills and experience to design solutions that inspire and enable teams to create tomorrow’s experiences. Working with the UX Director, you will help grow, innovate, and support the UX Design practice across Jam3. In addition, you will support and/or participate in pitches where possible.

The Real Opportunity

  • +You will mentor and develop team members in key areas including: expert site reviews; competitive audits; user requirements; user stories; journey maps; mindsets; site maps; user flows; wireframes; component libraries; low fidelity prototypes; annotations; communicating and defending design decisions to clients; and more.

  • +You will put your technical skills to use to provide UX activities and deliverables as needed for projects.

  • +Working in tandem with creatives and strategists, you will help concept ideas for new and engaging experiences, and successfully communicate design ideas and concepts to internal stakeholders as well as the client team.

  • +Working in tandem with the executive leaders overseeing the client account, you’ll be identifying account opportunities; defining and delivering project proposals; pitching ideas to clients; planning and scoping work; and laying the foundation to support collaboration amongst the cross functional team.

  • +Working with the UX Director, you will further define and shape the vision for the UX practice at Jam3.

  • +You will support the standardization of UX processes and continue to innovate as/when necessary.

  • +With the assistance of the resourcing team and the UX Director, you will ensure that projects are adequately resourced with UX support, and that freelancers are vetted and onboarded as required.

  • +In partnership with other leaders in the strategy and UX teams, you will help further the UX and experience design literacy of others at Jam3.

  • +You will proactively maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise in digital technologies and trends, sharing your insights with the team, to add to the collective knowledge.

  • +You will continuously hone your leadership and coaching skills to ensure you effectively motivate team members and get the most out of your direct reports.
